ABOUT ME

If you’re a book lover, indie author, or general lover of words, you came to the right place. My name is Jaime, I’m a full-time Elementary Teacher and self-proclaimed “Book Nerd.” When I’m not in my classroom or reading, I’m spending time with my husband and our fur baby, plotting as many trips to Memphis and Graceland as possible, and slowly but surely working on a novel of my own. I enjoy long walks perusing through bookstores and will never turn down an Elvis-related adventure. I enjoy reading from a wide variety of genres, but my favorites are definitely Romance, Historical Fiction, and Thrillers.

EXPERIENCE

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s degree in Reading, and a Master’s to be a Library and Media Information Specialist.
On average, I read 50+ books a year from diverse genres and authors. I try to be intentional with the books I spend time reading.
I completed Edit Republic’s High-Level Proofreading and Copyediting Pro course and am enrolled in other ER courses to continue growing as an editor and keep my skills fresh.
